What is the big deal with 'Anime' ?

-i think that's her name it's a cartoon or something. why do people always talk about her?? i never heard of her be4Anime is NOT a person.It's japanese cartoons/animation. the big deal about it is that they are AWESOME! it has different genre's and it's not only for little kids.it's for teens and adults too! some are for little kids,13+ and 17+.they have alot of category's like: romace,comedy,mystery,action kinda like movies.i love anime! they are very interesting and epic! you should try one maybe you will like it.



And it's NOT porn!!! it's just one of the category's/genre's it's called the ecchi genre and it's not porn,just perverted...



i'm 15 and i don't really like that genre.not all anime has perverted stuff.Anime is the name of any Japanese style cartoon. Shows that fall under the anime category are: Naruto, Yugioh, poke'mon, digimon, bayblade, etc. Many people will talk about anime because its enjoyable and entertaining. Why we believe this is very simple to us but very confusing to others, the reason people like anime so much is because with anime, unlike with live-action or drama, anything can happen at any moment. Nothing is impossible with anime!

like other said, anime is not a person but it's a term for japanese cartoon or japanese animation - anime has many genre such as romance, adventure and also action



if you never heard bout it before then why dont you try one then i can say that you wont waste your time, but do bear in mind to properly looked at the genre of series you're interested first or do some quick search before you're watching it ^^

I think its kinda funny that on another question, you criticized someone for wanting to know a certain anime character and yet, you; yourself, don't even know what it is. Not all anime is porn. For the most part, anime is more or less a unique art form. I like anime cause to me, it has a much better art form. I happen to like the look of the characters.
Its japanese animation....its not a person. Its better than any American "cartoon" and actually has a story to it. The most popular are One Piece, Bleach, and Naruto. Dragon Ball and Death Note are completed series that were fairly popular but i had no interest in. My favorite as of now is Ao no Exorcist......not that you would care, since you didn't even know what anime was :P
Anime is not a person. It is merely a Japanese cartoon. The big deal about it is that it is very entertaining. There are several different types of genres and it just seems to capture much interest. Yew should watch some anime, yew might like it xD

Anime is an abbreviated word for "animation", originated in Japan. Anime's are well loved by Asians since the characters are developed to be "cute". I too myself is an anime fan...you can try watching first, then tell me if you disagree. Try to watch the best, Deathnote!!!!
