Which manga idea do you like best? 10 points!?

-We're trying to find a unique but interesting manga idea



1. 2 guys figure out how to time travel, but it can be traced, and they find out somebody is after them.



2. 2 guys switch bodies, and while one is a typical highschool geek, the other battles criminals that are involved in the supernatural.



3. 2 guys break a certain rule, and get caught in a chess game. But this is no ordinary chess game, they chess pieces are humans, who must battle it out to claim victory. After they kill a chess piece, they must battle them in another dimension.All 3 are interesting... but not that original lawl XD



Number 1 DOES remind me of Jumper actually (American movie).

Number 2 reminds me of a few yaoi mangas I have read XD

Number 3 sounds like an AWESOME psychological horror, but the whole "chess" theme is too common...lol Like the anime MAR Heaven and the Chess Pieces (the bad guys in that anime) XD



And since my favourite genre is horror/psychological, I'm choosing #3 as the best idea XD

Instead of a "chess" game, how about an "Othello" game? Othello is a board type game, quite hard to win, and by the time you know that you're gonna lose, you have already lost the game.



It requires Black and White stone pieces, similar to Checkers. The aim of the game is to "capture" your opponents stone by making their stones turn into your colour. With this, you can also twist in a Shakespeares "Julius Ceaser" theme (aka betrayal like Brutus to Ceasar, but in this case the 2 guys, which they both represent Black & White, just like the Othello coloured stones).



Might sound a bit complicated...but it would be an interesting psychological twist lolol

You could make it that once the 2 guys break that certain rule, they got caught in an Othello game. They both have a different opinion on a certain matter that arises, and were split up into the Black team or the White team. Betrayal, trust and friendship between the 2 guys would also play a role and pretty much at the end... one of them dies OR they both die OR they both live. No need for it to be set in a magical world or what not. This can be done in a modern place XD It's one of those twisty type genres and plot line that I JUST love lolol



So at the end the genre would be: Psychological / Game / Mystery / Suspense



Check our "Liar Game" if you plan to make #3 idea more realistic than fantasy :)all are very unique and good!

hmmm number 2 im thinking is really good! you could also have him like som girl(geekside) but she likes the cool side oe something like that to get things more interesting but i really like the 3rd idea as well. i kind of reminds me of that episode from tsubasa chronicles its very good if you would like to check it out for more ideas :)
Number 1's Idea was good but I Really Didnt Think it would appear as Interesting unless you might wanna add a Twist at the end. Number 2's idea was used commonly many Times. Number 3's Idea Was Interesting and would Probably catch someones Eye. But Instead of Two Guys, Why Not Try Atleast 1 Girl. Or Maybe The 2 Guys meet a Girl Chess Piece that Helps them Defeat other Chess Pieces. And The Girl Ends Up Betraying Them. Try Something to Spice it Up. Like Add Romance Between the Chess Piece and 1 of The Guys.
The theme of 1 and 2 is too common. And 3 is kind of common....



1 is like Jumper (a movie)



2 is your stereotypical switching bodies of 2 different people



and 3 is a mix between a wizard's chess in harry potter and tron legacy.......



i like 1 and 3 the most though....
Out of the three, I perfer the first one the third one was weird, and the body switching thing was done to death.

For idea 1. It's ok. It doesn't truely catch my eye. That idea is there for different mangas but they have a twist so no matter how close the ideas are, they are totally unique.



For idea 2. This one is more appealing to me than the first one. I know the idea of switching bodies has been done to death and is very common but if you add a twist or supernatural element (I know it already as supernatural stuff in it) it could change it completely. And maybe you could make it one boy and one girl to make it more interesting (in this case the girl and/or guy may have to crossdress - bringing more humor to an unusual event).



For idea 3. It does remind me Harry Potter but have you ever seen/read of even heard of Pandora Hearts? It may not have the chess plot but the alternate dimension element is there. Now again it can be a female and male chess game. I am not to clear on what type of genre you want it to be but if you want it to be a bit dramatic - a girl that cannot handle violence would be good. Or for a true fight to the death battle you could add a tomboy girl that loves to fight and enjoys the sci/fi element. That would change it up a bit.



Sorry if I didn't truly help you but I did give my opinion and I would have to go with either 2 (but you would have to change it up as so it won't just be another "copy") or 3. What I said about the girlie girl in idea 3 could work for 2 as when the girl switches to be someone who battle supernatural criminals! Hope I helped!
